Frequently Asked Questions

Getting Started

Tap "Create Group" from the Groups tab, give your group a name and optional description, set how many photos each member can share per week (1-10), and you're ready to go. Share the invite code with friends so they can join your group.
Tap "Join Group" from the Groups tab and enter the invite code you received from a friend. The code is 8 characters and not case-sensitive. Once you enter a valid code, you'll be added to the group immediately.
A submission period is a week (Sunday to Sunday) during which you can upload and share photos with your group. During this time, you can add or remove photos until you submit. Once you submit, your photos are locked in for that week.

Photos & Sharing

Photos must be taken during the current submission period (the current week). We check the date embedded in your photo's metadata. If your photo was taken before the period started, it won't be accepted. This keeps sharing authentic and in-the-moment! Screenshots and edited photos may also be rejected if the original date can't be verified.
The timeline unlocks when all group members have submitted at least one photo, or when the hard deadline passes (Sunday at 9pm ET). You'll get a push notification when it's ready! Once unlocked, everyone can see all the photos from that week displayed in the order they were taken.
If you don't submit before the deadline, you won't be able to see that week's timeline. This encourages everyone to participate and share together. Don't worry though—you can still participate in future weeks!
Once you submit your photos for a period, they're locked in and can't be edited or deleted for that week. Before submitting, you can add or remove photos as many times as you want. Think of submitting as "sealing the envelope"!

Groups & Members

Go to the group's detail page, scroll to the bottom, and tap "Leave Group". If you're the only admin, admin rights will automatically transfer to another member. If you're the only member, the group will be deleted.
Only group admins can remove members. Tap on the members count in the group detail page to see all members. Swipe left on a member's name or tap the remove button to remove them from the group. They'll be notified that they've been removed.
Admins can regenerate the invite code from the group detail page. Tap "Regenerate" next to the invite code. This will invalidate the old code immediately—anyone with the old code won't be able to join.

Account & Privacy

Go to Profile → Account Settings → Delete Account. This will permanently remove your account and all associated data including photos. If you're the only member of any groups, those groups will also be deleted. This action cannot be undone.
Yes! Your photos are stored securely and are only visible to members of the groups you share them with. We use industry-standard encryption for all data transmission and storage. We never sell your data or use your photos for advertising. See our Privacy Policy for more details.
Go to Profile → Account Settings → Change Password. You'll need to enter your current password and then your new password twice. If you signed in with Apple, your password is managed by Apple and can't be changed in the app.
